SOW

• Minimum eight (6) years of RF engineering experience.

• Past experience with creating RFDS is required. Experience with Microsoft Visio is preferred

• Minimum 4 years of recent experience in radio network design

• Past Leadership experience in LTE projects is preferred

• Ability to work on complex technical issues and provide creative solutions valuable to Ericsson’s business.

• Ability to develop and prepare technical document and develop new processes.

Position Name : RF Design Engineer IV (3 positions anticipated)

Location : Two will be based in Plano TX but working remotely to start, the third will be based in Southern CA also working remotely to start.

Design

• Experience with planning tool - Atoll

• Detailed understanding of inputs required, and how to create a new project in a planning tool, tilt/azimuth optimization, proposing new site locations etc

• Have used the ACP (Automatic Cell Planning) tool

• Able to make recommendations to improve a network design (cell plan)

• Very good understanding of design process

• Able to understand different cell site configurations and the impact on network performance.
